We had the pleasure of reconnecting with Zainette, a proud Holy Name School alumna from the Class of 1998, and got to know her special story! The Early Childhood faith instilled at Holy Name School and reinforeced at Camden Catholic High School, led her to success along with finding her husband, Anthony Dandridge, who also graduated from both Holy Name and Camden Catholic!
This family story is one of deep roots, cherished traditions, and a commitment to quality education. Sharing the same faith-based values instilled by their families and teachers, Zainette and Anthony knew that Catholic education was the right choice for their children. "Since we were kids, we were always taught to put God first. Without a doubt we wanted the same for our children." While distance led them to enroll their children at St. Cecilia’s, discovering that Holy Name was part of the same Catholic Partnership Schools network reassured them that the values and academic excellence they cherished would continue for the next generation! Looking at her children’s experiences today, Zainette sees the same rigorous education and welcoming environment she once enjoyed. When asked what she would say to other parents considering Catholic Partnership Schools, she says "My kids are different. They each have their own personality and their own unique way of learning. I feel like Catholic Partnership teachers give a personal touch to each of their learning styles. Education at CPS is great and the relationships being fostered in the building are incredible."
We asked Zainette what advice she would give to her younger self. “I'd tell myself to let go and have fun! It's important to be present in the moment. I wish I came out of my shell sooner than I actually did.” This story is a testament to the lasting impact of Catholic Education—a tradition of faith, learning, and community that continues to thrive across generations.
