On September 8, 2022, students from St. Cecilia School, Holy Name School and Sacred Heart School unveiled their painted Book Arks for their neighboring communities to enjoy. These book Arks where made possible through the generosity of the Domenica Foundation who partners with nonprofit organizations to improve the quality of life for underserved communities in South Jersey and in conjunction with the Camden County Pop Up Library.
Sister Alicia Perna, Principal of St. Cecilia School shared a prayer and blessing over the ark and students filled the shelves with books of various genres including Spanish and Vietnamese literature! These arks where decorated and designed by our very own CPS students. We couldn't be more proud of their efforts and talent.
